A member of the kwaito pack Exodus, Antony Phatsima alias Fabi has dropped a second single album dubbed Tshwere mang this week.
Tshwere mang is a fusion of kwaito and amapiano and its Fabi’s second solo album, following his debut album Landlord released in November last year.
Given the Manyeloi a Exodus star’s kwaito history, Tshwere mang has a bit of kwaito feel in it.
He has also shot a music video for the single at Onkraft Media.
It is evident that Fabi missed his knack as he unleashed his best in the single likely to win the hearts of many music enthusiasts.
In an interview , project manager Tlotlo Kegontse said Fabi was a brand and keen to promote him to garner back his fans. Fabi was known for his voice and scintillating dances moves during the Exodus days.
“I want Batswana to embrace his music especially that he decided to do a happy mood single that promote peace and togetherness.”
He said the song was not only about entertaining the listeners but sending a message that they could learn from.
Kegontse said Fabi’s decision to choose amapiano genre would help Fabi to bounce back into the industry, as amapiano is the in thing. Fabi featured Baiker and Showa, Tlhase filmsworks, Onkarabile Baikananyi and producer Tbouz from South Africa. For his part, Fabi said Tshwere mang was inspired by the setup of partying and socialising as guys always want to have someone to party with while in outings.
“Some even leave their partners at home and hook up with other people at the entertainment spots of their choice. That’s inappropriate and main reason for issues in relationships.” Ends
