Gloomy Easter Holidays for Maun

There is a possibility of a gloomy Easter Holidays in Maun as events that were slated for the holidays have been postponed due to COVID-19 scare.
So far, African Attire on Fleek tour, organised by Colourful People Entertainment that was slated for April 12 at Maun Recreational Park, has been postponed.
The statement from the organisers that was released on Monday, indicates that the postponement follows caution from the Ministry of Health and Wellness that advises against gathering of more than 100 people.
The statement further states that the event was postponed for the safety of the followers and advises fans, who have already bought tickets, to look out for new dates to be announced during the cause of the year.
The other event, African Roots Flava tour by Soul Jam Enterprises, which was also slated for April 12 at Country Farm in Maun, has also been postponed to September.
According to a statement, those who have already purchased tickets will be told of a new date, while those, who want to be refunded their money, will be assisted from April.
Also, Maun usually attracts multitudes of people from across the country for the annual Mascom Derby. Ends
