She said the author was one of the talented writers and greatest mindful people.

“When I got a call from Unowah’s parents and they told me the boy is 13-years-old, in my mind I thought it is going to be a roughly sketched book, but I was surprised to see a whole packaged book. Unowah is a boy with a vision and dreams, this is not just a launch of his book, but a launch of his career as a writer,” she said.

Modibedi also encouraged parents to support their children and nurture their talent and skill.

In addition, senior teacher Monkgogi Mogotsi said he met Unowah when he started Form 1 and realised his love for books.

“He will come to the library to borrow a lot of fiction books. He was strong willed and determined, as he will give reviews of books within a short period of time.

Mogotsi also urged other pupils to look up to their peers and use the library lessons, as they could become handy for them. ENDS
