Rnb and Hip Hop artist, Tshwarelo Basupang aka Alil Boy is set to drop a love song on Friday.

The 25-year-old Thamaga resident said the song titled Valentine Girl celebrates couples who still hold on to love in an age where intimacy is lost to frustrations.

In an interview, Alil Boy said Valentine Girl was produced under his stable Dark 9t and features Lourd Romeo who did the vocal for the beats.

He said he had 20 projects prior to working on Valentine Girl.

“My first project was I need Somebody, produced by Dnx records which debuted on Flava Dome, but my most popular project was called Selodi,” he said.

He said he had been in the music industry since 2010, adding that most of his projects were about love.

Alil Boy explained that his music provided a platform to express himself noting that he hoped everyone who listened to his music would get soothed.

He said his musical career had major support from collaborations with hip hop group Flexyville, Spiza and some upcoming artists.

Alil Boy said he also had an opportunity to perform during grand opening of My Star, the annual Miss Valentines, Miss Independence Thamaga as well as the annual Miss Thamaga Central.

He said his music was more than entertainment, but a testament to youths to utilise their talents.

Alil Boy manager, Phodiso Tshegisi explained that the young artiste had a promising future in the music industry provided he  could receive the right support and encouragement. ENDS
