30 Jan 2020

Upcoming Kwaito music artiste, Donald Gaekgathe aka Ghost has dropped out a new single album called Magorosa Baeng.

In an interview recently, the 30-year-old lad from Serowe revealed that the album had already hit the shelves and doing exceptionally well.

The song, he said was produced at T.R.S Records Studio.

The promising musician’s target market is young people, hence the heavily messaged track. It cautions young women who depend on men for money and encourages them to strive to be independent.

Ghost noted that his passion for music started in 2004 while at junior secondary school days where he was known for his singing talent.

Inspired by South African music group, Skwata Camp and Teargas, his love for music is on levels.

“Through the community’s support I realised my potential and started trying my luck in the music industry and I managed to release three singles working with one famous kwaito artiste and four single tracks as a solo artiste,” he added.

The multi-talented Ghost pointed out that he also sings Motswako and traditional music as his intention was to deliver messages in different ways in order to transform people’s lives.

He stated that he would be releasing a full album soon and urged Batswana to support him and other local music in order to grow the industry. He said some artistes hopes were dashed because of lack of support. ENDS
