Traditional fashion and cuisine courtesans will be in for a treat as the African Home Lodge will be hosting the inaugural ‘Go African’ event themed the ultimate African lifestyle event on November 23.

A statement by the Gaborone based lodge’s marketing manager, Maggie Motlogi on behalf of the organisers said African Home Lodge prides and celebrates itself for promoting African culture expressed through the hotel’s African Décor, cuisine and entertainment.

She said they were of the notion that while culture was dynamic, the traditional and modern African lifestyle could fully co-exist to create an idyllic fusion.

Motlogi said the event was one of the ways in which they aimed to share their love for culture and Africanism with their patrons.

The marketing manager said they were expecting patrons from all walks of live to grace the occasion and experience the buffet of African cuisine featuring an array of best African delicacies.

Khoi San, member of Ladies of Jazz Kearoma, and a host of other cultural performances will add flair to the event with their live performances.

Motlogi wrote that with the event they plan to share the spirit of Botswana in the context of Africa and believe that this was a time for Africa to come together and unite as one.

“There is so much beauty we as Africans have to share with the world and African Home will continue to champion this,” Motlogi stressed.

Tickets are being sold for P280 single and P500 for a couple from web tickets or at African Home, near Middle Star. Ends
