The Botswana Defence force will this year once again host its biggest charitable music event, dubbed; the Annual Presentation of the BDF bands in concert style.

According to a press release from BDF, the concerts are part of the BDF’s corporate social responsibility programmes designed to give back to the community by assisting those in need.

This year’s series of concerts will commence on Friday and end on December 21, 2019, having covered 14 villages and towns around the country.

The release further states that as is the norm, during the concerts, the BDF will donate cheques to various charity organisations that have been selected as beneficiaries for this year.

The opening concert, says the release, will be held at Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) Auditorium, in Mogoditshane on Friday at 6:45 pm.

It says the concert will be graced by amongst others, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi who is also the BDF Commander-in-chief, Members of Parliament and Heads of Diplomatic community.

Other places which will host this year’s concerts include Serowe, Bobonong, Selibe-Phikwe, Francistown, Masunga, Orapa, Kasane, Maun, Ghanzi, Kang, Tsabong, Jwaneng and Lobatse. ENDS
