Bobonong Community Hall will, tonight, turn an epicenter of the vast Central District when it becomes home to the regional Miss RADP and men’s fashion show.

The Mr and Miss RADP pageant for the Central District Council is the penultimate show that pits the fairest and boldest of the winners from the six of the seven sub districts of Boteti, Mahalapye, Serowe, Tutume, Tonota and Bobonong (minus Palapye) for the only available spots at the national show.

During the night the judges will be charged with plucking men and women of substance out of the rest to set them on course to the ultimate show final.

The six sub-districts have each conditioned and discharged a trusted trio of the fairest ladies to represent them at the regional level where they will be tested to outwit opponents both in their catwalks and mental aptitude.

As for men, sub-districts will send a man each for determination as the gallant and best hanger of clothes to the national men’s fashion show. Contestants from the remote areas are expected to tap on the competition as a springboard to their dreams.

The queen and her first princess will each garner a spot at the national Ms RADP final while, likewise, the king and his prince will book themselves a ticket to exhibit their giant steps against others who received nods from various districts.

The contestants have been in a two-week boot camp where they were drilled on perfecting their craft as well as undergoing inculcation of RADP programmes.

Bobirwa Sub-district spokesperson Thabiso Keiphetlhetswe revealed that the district had engaged professionals to drill contestants on putting on their best moves to win the hearts of the judges as well as turning themselves into a feast for the crowd.

As a package of the preparations, the contestants underwent physical training as well as medical examinations to determine their suitability for the spots in Friday’s show and subsequent nationals. ENDS
