Selebi Phikwe will host Miss Botswana grand finale on September 21.

The grand finale had to change venue this year after consultation with the main sponsor.

The move is also meant to engage the public.

This was revealed during the Miss Botswana Fashion Show at the Cresta Hotel in Gaborone on August 17, where Miss Botswana Top 12 finalists were also announced.

The fashion show that was scheduled for 6pm started way past the start time with the top 30 girls strutting their stuff clad in denim and t-shirts.

While organisation of the event was a misery for the media, the design collections were captivating.  

One of the designers, Designer Boka Creations presented a perfectly spring inspired collection with soulful simplicity and the girls ramped the beautiful feminine architectures with poise and confidence.

Another tantalising collection was by Versatile Creations.

Its elegance and craftsmanship gave the girls a sense of ownership and personalisation.

The 2019 Miss Botswana queen will represent the country at Miss World slated to be held in London  in December. ENDS
