Actor, Maxwell Dichi popularly known as ‘Seretse’ in one of South Africa’s  popular soapie, Muvhango, will launch his new show at Maitisong on September 7.

The show is called The Maxwell Dichi Talk Show.

In an interview, Dichi said the talk show started off as a blog called Conversation with Dichi, which  had about 100 000 views.

The Maxwell Dichi Talk Show, he said was an expansion of the blog.

“The talk show will encompass interviews being the core thing and will engage the audience. It will be recorded for both online platforms and television,” he said.

“The show will touch on several topics and featuring various influential people in Botswana or anyone who made positive impact in the community, with a strong focus on informing while entertaining,”  he added.

Dichi further explained that the talk show would air once a month with 13 episodes and Batswana were allowed to recommend who they would like to see featured in the show.

“It will continue to tell compelling, empowering and entertaining stories that are about Batswana.

He said Batswana should expect nothing but the best as the show would give them exposure to other forms of news and public affairs information.

“It is also a type of opinion activity because of the participatory and interactive features,” he said.

Meanwhile tickets are sold at P150 at Maitisong and webtickets respectively. ENDS
