Ko gae hitmaker Tshepang Kwapa, popularly known as Moologa in the music industry, promises to release another single next month after the success of his first single.
In the first single, Ko gae, he featured Morwa Tsankana.
In an interview, Moologa said his upcoming single titled Senamphatshwana talks about the worth of women in the community and welfare of men.
He said the song was to appreciate women for the roles they play in their homes and also in the nation.
The 24-year-old said it was high time women were recognised for their efforts in nation building as most people, including leaders, were where they are because of women.
He said women also play a pivotal role in men’s lives as they mentor them and guide their steps in decision making hence they should be appreciated.
Moologa also commended women for proving that they were just as hardworking as men.
He said his eight-track album was almost done though he was still doing final touches as he wants nothing but perfection for his fans.
He said his upcoming single Senamphatshwana and Ko gae, which he released a year ago, would be available in the upcoming album.
He said Ko gae has been doing well in local radio stations and also gained him performances nationally.
He said the single opened doors for him as his brand grew bigger and better as he started working with professionals and familiar brands in the entertainment industry.
Moologa extended his gratitude to DJ Oats, Prez Beats, Ras logic, Banco and many others working behind the scenes to produce quality music for him.
The Morwa-born lad said his song got him gigs at Vintage Pub in Mochudi where he performs regularly.
Also, he said the song had opened doors for him as he had been invited to perform at Bakgatla festival in Moruleng, South Africa in Septemeber.
Moologa said the invitation came at the right time as he had now grown.
The youngster said he also received an invitation to showcase his talent in Mafikeng, South Africa this year.
He thanked God for the opportunities adding that the journey had not been easy but he looks far beyond his challenges.
“Finding a career in the industry is not easy as it is still growing and needs one to be a hardworker and remain focused,” said Moologa.
Also, he said he had a track titled Botshelo that was released in October 2017 and was used by Barclays Bank on its commercial adverts on Botswana Television.
Moologa said the song was meant to introduce him to Batswana music lovers.
He said he had worked with a lot of local artistes on the upcoming album and was hoping to work with even more in the future.
Moologa encouraged the youth to refrain from using social media for all the wrong reasons but rather to use it to market their brands and establish their careers.
He said the youth need to know that nothing comes easy in life adding that they need to put an extra effort in whatever they were doing. ENDS
