KTM Choir celebrates 25 years

KTM Choir will tomorrow celebrates 25 years anniversary in a concert dinner at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).

The choir, which was founded by the late music pundit Gomolemo Motswaledi and other music giants, has over the years produced music stars, who have made their mark in the local showbiz industry.

One of the concert organising committee members, Mike Modise said in an interview that preparations had gone well.

As such, Modise assured Batswana that they should expect a thrilling show with three sessions in place.

He indicated that the current KTM Choir would share a stage with old members in one session.

Also, he said there would be a session for the current choir members only.

Another exciting session to look forward to, he said would be that of Lizibo and KTM Choir performing with a live band.

He further said awards would also be presented on the night; where composers and long serving members of the choir as well as elders of the choir, would be awarded appreciation certificates.

Some dignitaries expected at the concert are President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi and First Lady, Neo Masisi, European Union Ambassador to Botswana, Ambassador of China and other dignitaries.

He indicated that a number of companies had shwon interest in buying corporate tickets and as such he encouraged individuals to get their tickets on time.

The concert starts at 7pm. ENDS
