The third edition of Jwaneng Social Picnic Chillas is billed for March

Speaking in an interview, the organiser, Kabo Komanyane said the event, which was first launched in 2017, would be  bigger and better with major improvements such as intensified security.

“Security was one of the issues that worried a lot of our patrons during the previous events.

We have also lined up local artistes from Jwaneng to empower and give them a chance to market themselves.

They will line up along other artistes, who will come as a surprise,” he said.

Komanyane said there would be a lot of activities put in place for the children.

He said the show was meant to unite Jwaneng residents and give them a good time.

In the past events, he said the show attracted about 300 people adding that they intend to grow the numbers.

An activation mode is expected to take place at Debswana Club Garden on March 29, where the event will be hosted. ENDS
