The first couple, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi and First Lady Neo Masisi on March 15 took time out to unwind at Motown and Afro Night show held at Ba Isago Convention Centre.
Headlined by the Temptations and Manhattans from Detroit, United States of America, the show attracted the old generation.
The Temptations, clad in their 1960s inspired attire, opened their set with Treat her like a Lady.
Their twist dance got everybody on their feet and the crowd went wild with their rendition of Soul to Soul.
The Manhattans said they dedicated their set and the whole show to President Masisi and his wife and appreciated their attendance.
After the show, the President met briefly with the two groups, and said they reminded him of his childhood during the 1970s, adding that he admired the quality of music that they composed and produced.
Dr Masisi and his wife said their favourite song of Manhattans was Kiss and say Goodbye, however they said they loved other songs.
The concert was a memorable one for the old generation as they reminisced of their youthful days.
Revellers were also treated to music from Cheek to Cheek and Joe Nina of South Africa. ENDS
