- Botswana’s Afro Pop crooner and multi-award winning entertainer will serenade the people of Francistown in a show dubbed ‘3 hours of live music with Lizibo,’ it has been confirmed.

One of the organisers’ of the show, Tshepo Kefitilwe, popularly known in music circles as DJ Phat Tee, relayed in an interview that the show, organised to celebrate the day of love and romance, will be held at Kondwane Guest Lodge.

“Valentine’s Day is a special day for lovers so this music show is primarily organised for people who want to celebrate love with their partners, family and friends,” he said.

The show is organised by Lizibo’s company, Hi-Note Entertainment, under the theme To Pupuna Ludo, which means we celebrate love.

The theme, according to DJ Phat Tee, was arrived at looking at the artiste’s popular songs, which are mostly sung in Kalanga, among them U Mpanga, Bhano Fanilana and Kubuya featuring Granny Bae.

Lizibo said in a telephone interview that the show was special because he would be performing with a live band.

“There has been shortage of live music performances in Francistown, and I want to help change that. Let me urge people to come in large numbers to celebrate the day of love with soul-soothing music of international standard produced locally.

I will also be performing my new songs from my upcoming album such as Di-Out which i performed on Btv Flava Dome, and has been well received by my legion of fans,” he said.

Tickets for the show sell at P250 single with dinner and P450 for a couple including dinner.ENDS
