Gamaila family fun day to raise funds for charity

The first annual Gamaila family fun day scheduled for December 8 will raise funds for charity.
Speaking in an interview, event organiser, Letlhomame Molefhane said the main aim was to raise funds for the less privileged and people living with disability.
He said funds generated from the event would be used to buy clothes and groceries for those identified.“The family fun day will also promote and empower upcoming artistes, bring the community together and encourage as well as promote good relationships between parents and children,” he said.Molefhane said the event would benefit businesses as well adding that stalls were sold at P200.Also, he said there would motivational speeches to enlighten the community on business and financial management, talent development and life skills.
“Traditional food would be available to promote culture and healthy eating,” he said.
He said Kgosi Thatayaone Makaba, Kanye North MP, Patrick Ralotsia and some motivational speakers would grace the event.
Artistes expected at the event include DJ Chabo, Jde Superstar, Razor Sonofbeat, Peneneponono the comedian, Kgagaripa and Wolf Dawg among others.
Molefhane said there would be games such as egg race, face painting, traditional games, trampolines, play stations and jumping castles among others.
He said the event presents organisations with an opportunity to engage in corporate social responsibility by investing in youth pioneered projects. ENDS
