19 Nov 2018
Mister Gaborone 2018, Jomo Kgaolo will travel to Lagos, Nigeria, on November 28 to represent the country at Mister Africa International 2018 scheduled for December 2.
Kgaolo, an employee of BotswanaPost, won Mister Gaborone 2018 in July, which gave him automatic rights to represent Botswana at one of the international pageants being; Mr Universal Ambassador, Mister Heritage and Mister Africa International.
However, he chose the latter.
In an interview, Kgaolo promised to do the best he could. He has however missed out on the Mister Popularity segment as it was unclear if he was still going for the pageant when the competition was running.
Meanwhile, Kgaolo has invited his fans and followers on social media to use such platforms to rally behind him.
“Please like and share my pictures.
And everyone who has seen me or have seen my works, please upload a video of why you think I should win Mister Africa and use the hashtag: #MisterAfrica2018,” he pleaded. Kgaolo also appreciated his sponsors including BotswanaPost, Dehandz DE, Skiin Gourmet, Jack’s Gym Botswana, Lily Collection & Mafia Soul.
He also thanked BotswanaPost for the support and for believing in him as well as his family and friends for their dedicated support and keeping him grounded and humbled at all times.
He advised young men to take interest in pageantry as it was one platform that the youth could use to foster ahead, get their voice heard and impact positively on the lives of others. ENDS
