Moalosi to contest in Miss Africa in November
21 Oct 2018
Former Miss Bikini Botswana queen Karabo Moalosi will represent the country in the Miss Africa pageantry billed for November in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 22-year-old Moalosi said she currently holds the Miss Botswana Africa title, which automatically landed her in the upcoming most coveted African crown in November.
In preparation, she said she will be hosting a models seminar as a fundraiser for her trip and entry to the competitions as she is required tand the South African international female model and beauty queen, Acarcia Molatudi, who accepted her invite and are eager to share everything and plant a seed in local models.
Despite Moalosi’ efforts and successes representing and shining in international pageantry and modeling stages, she said she has not been assisted by government as she has been turned down though she keeps knocking on the supposedly relevant doors for sponsorships.
She beseeched both public and private entities for sponsorships as she still has dreams to go further and compete in other elite international pageantries and modeling competitions.
However, she said she would not let lack of sponsorships crush her, as she works hard to be at par with international standards, adding that she is currently readying for the Miss Africa contest by amassing and feeding her brain with knowledge as well as keeping physically fit.
Moalosi said she is also working hard for her other title of Face of Summer 2018\19, after her crowing in Zimbabwe in March, adding that she is also preparing for the USA Style-ology fashion show billed for March 2019. ENDS
