Stango drops Ngwaga o fela leng

Thirty-two-year-old Bobonong-born Kebabonye Makgosa has released a third album entitled, Ngwaga o fela leng.

Makgosa, also known as Stango, said in an interview that the album had six-tracks including the title track, Ngwaga o fela leng.

Other songs are Champion, Ke tlhabetswe ke letsatsi, Ke tshotse ngwana, Moya and Ba tla e sekela.

The song Champion, he said wa about patience saying for someone to be a champion, one had to go through trials and tribulations.

He said Ke tshotse ngwana was another hit song in the album, which will certainly give music lovers something to dance to.

He said the album, which was recorded at Fire Flame Studio in Serowe, has been received positively.

Already, he said some of the songs were receiving airplay on local radio stations such as RB1 and RB2.

Before recording his first album, Stango played drums for a music group called Gushata in Mahalapye. 

“While still with Gushata group I had time to learn more about music as I used to go for performances with various artists to different places in the country,” he said.

The Kwasa Kwasa singer, who also prefers to do his own composition than plagiarism, said he was inspired by Kwasa Kwasa artiste, Franco.

“Piracy and lack of quality artistic work has killed musicians and hindered them from attaining their objectives," he said. ENDS
