Epic Eco Garden, in partnership with Mark Media, will host the first edition of 48hr Ipuso picnic on September 29 and 30.

The picnic will be held at Epic Eco Garden in Mokatse, along the Oodi-Modipane road.

The event will be graced by the likes of Danslip Music of Ghana, Music Mo from South Africa, Flexyville, Copperfield, DJ Frost, DJ KSB and several others.

The first event was held at Master’s Liquor Restaurant in Modipane during the past weekend with others scheduled for Chillas and Lover’s Bar in Oodi on September 14-16.

In an interview, one of the organisers, Kealeboga Sedumedi said part of the proceeds would be channeled towards the 2018 independence day celebrations in Modipane.

He said people’s feedback was pleasing, adding that engaging the bar was an advantage as the attendance was impressive.

Sedumedi said companies had also been catered for as stalls were on sale at P500.

The event, he said, would also cater for children since other artists such as Flexyville will be more focused on entertaining young ones during the family fun day on September 29 from 12 noon.

On security of the show, he said, Mark Media had partnered with Botswana Police Service, Joe Security and Bouncer.

He said tickets sold for P30 each day and were available at Mark Media, Modipane Save Rite, Master’s Liquor Restaurant, Lover’s Bar and Chillas Bar in Oodi.

Sedumedi said merchandise was also available.

The event would have Joey of RB2, Lekgowa and C’Water as masters of ceremonies for the day. ENDS
