Joyous Celebrations comes to Botswana

 South Africa’s gospel group, Joyous Celebrations will perform at a show dubbed ‘Life changing concert  featuring Joyous Celebrations 22’ on August 25.

The concert, which will be held at University of Botswana Indoor Sport Arena and hosted by Brave Heart, is also expected to feature local artistes and comedians.

In a press briefing held on July 12, one of the founding members of Joyous Celebrations, who is also a producer, Lindelani Mkhize expressed gratitude for the hospitality that they were receiving, as it shows the kind of people Batswana are. Mkhize said looking at the number of their supporters in Botswana, “It is long overdue for Joyous Celebration to come here”.

He said the upcoming concert is a journey and an experience because they perform at their best on stage.

He further said they are hoping that the partnership with Brave Heart would grow into establishing this concert as an annual show, which could be held in August every year.

Mkhize further pleaded Batswana to attend in large numbers and experience the best of Joyous Celebrations.

He was accompanied by other cast members such as Andiswa Mbantsa, Khayelihle Sibanyoni, Phumzile Luthuli and Saone Sefako.

The Managing Director of Brave Heart, Joseph Manuel said the concert is life changing because people would never be the same again after attending the show.

Manuel further said they are planning to grow the show as well as improving the partnership with Joyous Celebrations.

Through this concert, he said, they would like to showcase how capable Batswana are in terms of lighting and sound production.

He encouraged Batswana to avoid buying tickets last minute and that the show is a family date as it is suitable for all age groups. ENDS
