Miss Botswana Fashion World ambassador

Reigning Miss Botswana, Nicole Gaelebale has been appointed brand ambassador of Fashion World Stores, a partnership that is expected to run for three years.
The partnership will see the store sponsoring Gaelebale with its merchandise every three months as well as also dressing her whenever she has an event to attend.
Director of Madam Queen Modeling Agency and marketing director of Junior Miss Botswana and Fashion World Stores, Queen Kolobe explained in an interview that Gaelebale’s appointment came after she displayed positive qualities and traits during her reign, which included being humble, well-mannered and disciplined.
Kolobe also mentioned that Gaelebale was an inspiration to many youth. “I was impressed by her poise, confidence and her willingness to go after her dreams and never giving up on them despite her failures in trying to do so. These are the qualities we want for someone to become a brand ambassador of a franchise that is as big as Fashion World,” she said, adding that “this should serve as an inspiration for everyone who is working on achieving their dreams, but are facing challenges in their paths.”
An avid supporter of the Botswana arts industry, Kolobe noted that the development was not only meant for beauty queens but everyone who played a part in the art industry.
“I am very passionate about the arts and want to contribute towards improving this industry, so I encourage every artist to be serious about their craft and carry themselves in a way that will get them recognised.
I remain grateful to Fashion World for also taking part in assisting the arts industry and also call on other organisations to follow suit,” she advised.
For her part, Gaelebale could not contain her excitement about the sponsorship, saying it was a welcome development.
She said it came at the right time and would help alleviate some of the stresses she faced especially when she has to attend some events, as she normally struggles with what to wear. “I sometimes decline invites to events not because I do not want to go, but because at times I never have proper attire for such events.
So this partnership with Fashion World will come in handy in that department because I will no longer use lack of proper dress code as an excuse,” she said.
Gaelebale became Miss Botswana 2017, winning the prestigious crown on her sixth attempt after having auditioned five times, but never winning the crown.
Despite failing to win the crown for more than five years, Gaelebale never gave up on her dream of becoming Miss Botswana but she instead worked hard on correcting her past mistakes, and then used her experience to finally win the coveted title. ENDS
