Lebotse finds niche in wedding choreography

Ambitious self-taught wedding choreographer, Omphile Lebotse has managed to turn his passion into a lucrative and marketable business.
The 30-year-old Mochudi-born recently stated in an interview that being chosen to be his cousin’s groomsman in 2013 unlocked his dancing skills and that was when his passion developed.
He said he provided wedding dance moves anywhere around the country and charged customers based on the distance he would be required to travel every weekend for the lessons.
According to Lebotse, his business targeted people of all ages who were preparing to get married and willing to have an “epic and fun filled wedding.”
Lebotse, who is better known as “Mr Coach” by his clientele, noted that so far the business was doing well in the market and he managed to hire one young person.
As with many entrepreneurs, the Textile and Design graduate also take advantage of social media to launch his business and reach out to the masses.
He further stated that creativity and uniqueness of the business kept him going and he used his imagination to come up with new dancing moves to match various rhythm of music selected by his customers.
“I have to select a wedding dance to fit slow, medium or fast paced songs perfectly and it is a lot of work,” he said.
Like any other business, Precise Wedding Choreography founder is not insulated from challenges because he deals with people of different interests and they often choose complicated dance rhythms which require him to put a lot of energy.
He stated that some customers did not master the dance moves quick enough, forcing him to spend more time with them.
According to Lebotse his dream is to take his business to greater heights and being able to fund his other businesses. ENDS
