Jwaneng Mine Southern Region Women’s Football League will be back on the turf on Saturday following the Easter break. and the excitement is palpable as defending champions Zodiac Collabo Girls FC aim to maintain their winning streak. 

This weekend, runner-up Jwaneng Galaxy, trailing by just two points behind the log leaders, Collabo, are  set to clash in a high-stakes match that could impact the league standings. 

The ongoing 2024/2025 season is heating up, and both fixtures promise to be thrilling encounters as teams vie for crucial points in pursuit of the championship.

Zodiac Collabo Girls FC, renowned for their formidable attacking prowess and solid defense, will capitalise on their home advantage as they defend against Jwaneng Galaxy’s challenge. With their players demonstrating impressive form this season, they are eager to showcase their skills in front of loyal fans in Lobatse.

Conversely, Jwaneng Galaxy is determined to capitalise on any potential lapses from their rivals. In this weekend’s Week 17 fixtures set for Saturday, Galaxy will enjoy home-ground advantage as they battle against Bonto FC, currently in sixth position with 14 points. Log leaders Collabo will also face Maletamotse FC in what promises to be a thrilling encounter, as they strive to extend their lead at the top of the table.Fourth-place Moshupa New Stars takes on Tholo Peace Masters, who remain at the bottom of the table with only 2 points after 13 games. ENDS
