BCP wins Chobe Enclave central ward

Ms Gasetime Sefela of the Botswana Congress Party has won the Chobe Enclave Central Ward with 200 votes.
Mr Disho Baleofi of the Botswana Democratic Party followed with 137, while Ms Ratanang Serefu of the Umbrella for Democratic Change came third with 74 votes and independent candidate, Mr Darkie Setlhare came forth with 36 votes. Mr Francis Maome of the Botswana Patriotic Front came fifth with 17 votes and two were spoilt votes.
The ward became vacant following the death of Mooketsi Jani who won the ward under the BDP ticket during the general elections.
