Primary schools in Tlokweng receive stationery

Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs through Tlokweng District Council has already addressed the delay in procurement of stationery at all Tlokweng schools. 

When answering a question in Parliament on Tuesday, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mr Ignatius Moswaane said the delivery delay was communicated to all schools and subsequently stationery was delivered to all four primary schools in Tlokweng on the  February 28, 2025. 

He said he was not aware that primary school students were asked to bring stationery to schools in Tlokweng. 

Mr Moswaane said despite initial delays, the ministry swiftly addressed the issue, informed affected schools and insured that all the primary schools receive their stationery, reaffirming their commitment to education for children. 

MP for Tlokweng, Mr Phenyo Segokgo had asked the minister if he is aware that primary schools students were asked to bring stationery to schools in Tlokweng, and if so, what is he doing to address the issue. ENDS
