School maintenance tender at adjudication stage

The tender for maintenance of Tashata Junior Secondary School is expected to be awarded between April and May this year, Minister of Child Welfare and Basic Education Dr Nono Kgafela-Mokoka has said.
She noted that tender, entailing holistic maintenance of ceilings, plumbing, doors and power among others, was at adjudication stage. She said the school was not maintained in the previous financial year due to budgetary constraints.
The minister was responding to a question from Tati East MP, Mr Tlhabologo Furniture who had asked for an update on the state of the school and when a holistic maintenance would be done. ENDS
