ADB presidency candidate courts Boko support

African Development Bank (ADB) presidency candidate Mr Amadou Hott has emphasised a vision for a more inclusive and resilient African economy and highlighted plans to accelerate investments in infrastructure, energy and green solutions.
The Senegalese expressed the commitment on Monday when seeking the endorsement of President Advocate Duma Boko in his campaign to lead the continent’s foremost financial institution.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar Es Salaam, where they also discussed Africa’s pressing economic challenges, critical need for sustainable development and the pivotal role of ADB in addressing such issues. ENDS
