 The Into Africa Picnic Festival is set for December 26 at Adashe Gardens in Thamaga.

The picnic, brought by The Dawn Sessions, has shown growth since inception in 2022 with this year’s line-up featuring international artiste, Johnny Mokhali.

Locally, the festival has lined up some of the best acts in the industry such as Skavenja, Issa Sisdoh, Ozi F Teddy, Bentiq Soul and Dj Slyim among others.

Hosted by April Gates and Brooks, the third edition will attract even more mature crowds with its addition of Johnny Mokhali.

His performance is expected to take them down memory lane and reminisce on songs, which have also gained popularity among the young audience.

The festival not only provide entertainment during the Christmas season, but also thrives to empower local small businesses by giving them an opportunity to showcase their products at the show.

Products and services such as jewellery, designs and food stalls are some, which will be showcased at this year’s event.  

Also, the Into Africa Picnic festival gives back to the community every year, a day before the event.

They have donated food hampers to the less privileged in Thamaga, and this year the food hampers will be donated on Christmas Day.

Tickets for this event are sold at P100 single and P150 double. The dress code for the event is African attire. Ends
