The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) on Saturday held the last round of primary elections to select prospective parliamentary and council candidates. The Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) and the Botswana National Front also conducted their primary elections in some constituencies.

The following emerged victorious in the respective constituencies in the BDP primary elections; Annah Mokgethi (Gaborone Bonnignton North), Lillian Moremi (Mogoditshane East), Dorcas Makgato (Tswapong East), Beauty Manake (Selebi Phikwe West), Sethomo Lelatisitswe (Boteti East), Dumizweni Mthimkhulu (Gaborone South), Thulagano Segokgo (Tlokweng), Mmusi Kgafela (Mochudi Central), Tumiso Rakgare (Mogoditshane West), Christian Greeff (Gaborone Bonnignton South), Rebaone Seema (Gaborone North), Godisang Radisigo (Francistown East), Luckson Likokoto (Chobe), Palelo Motaosane (Thamaga-Kumakwane), Setlhabelo Modukanele (Tswapong North), James Lekgetho (Mmopane-Metsimotlhabe), Kagiso Mmusi (Gabane-Mankgodi), Kavis Kario (Ngami), Tati East (Dr Letsholathebe ), Mr Daniel Molokwe (Kgatleng West), and Legojane Kebaitse (Lentsweletau-Lephepe).

Meanwhile, the quartet of Vice President Slumber Tsogwane (Boteti West), Kabo Morwaeng (Molepolole South), Dr Lemogang Kwape (Kanye West) and Fidelis Molao (Shashe West) were unopposed.

Meanwhile, Kamal Jacobs won the BNF (UDC) primary elections in Lobatse. Ends
