President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi is on a working visit in Namibia at the invitation of his counterpart Dr Nangolo Mbumba, President of Namibia.

A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says President Masisi who has been invited as the guest of honour, will today deliver a keynote address at the Swakopmund International Trade Expo (SWAITEX). 

The release explains that he will also hold official talks with his counterpart tomorrow and  discussions will encompass matters of mutual interest, including a review of progress in existing areas of cooperation, such as agriculture, transport, telecommunications, defence and security. 

“The two will also explore potential opportunities to further enhance and deepen collaboration between their nations,” says the release.

President Masisi is accompanied by First Lady Neo, Vice President Slumber Tsogwane, ministers and senior government officials.

They will return to Gaborone on Thursday. Ends
