President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi is scheduled to present the 100 000th residential plot to the recipient in Kanye on June 11.

A statement from the Ministry of Lands and Water Affairs says that before the allotment of this significant plot by President Masisi, Dr Kefentse Mzwinila, the Minister of Lands and Water Affairs, will allocate the 99900th plot in Mochudi on June 7.

The Ministry is diligently working towards achieving the target of 100 000 plot allocations set by President Masisi in June 2022. Currently, the release says 99 500 residential plots have already been allocated nationwide.

Reaching the 100 000 target in the initial week of June signifies a remarkable and historic milestone for the ministry.

Furthermore, it says in an effort to meet the target of 100 000 residential plot allocations, six out of the 12 main land authorities in the country, namely Chobe, Rolong, Ghanzi, Kgalagadi, Kgatleng, and Tati landboards, have already exceeded their targets. Ends
