The Assistant Minister of Health, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe, is in Malawi on a benchmarking visit to the Malawi-Baylor Children’s Clinical Centre of Excellence.

A press statement from the Ministry of Health states that the visit is meant to benchmark and foster collaboration between the ministry and the Malawi-Baylor Children’s Clinical Centre of Excellence.

The release says the ministry recently signed a public private partnership agreement with the Botswana- Baylor Children’s Clinical Centre of Excellence Trust and will use the arrangements to augment its efforts to bring better health services to children and adolescents.

Assistant Minister Lelatisitswe is accompanied by the permanent secretary Ms Grace Muzila and other senior ministry officials. 

Mr Lelatisitswe and his delegation will be back on September 5.ENDS
