Masisi on private leave

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi’s private leave which commenced last week Wednesday ends tomorrow.
A Botswana Government Communications and Information Systems (BGCIS) press release says Minister of Transport and Public Works Mr Eric Molale is currently acting president.
The release explains that Vice President Slumber Tsogwane, who was acting president August 10-16, resumes the position today upon his return from the Democratic Republic of Congo where he attended the 42nd SADC summit.
It notes that the two-day summit is held under the theme: Promoting Industrialisation Through Agro-processing, Mineral Beneficiation and Regional Value Chains for Inclusive and resilient Economic Growth. Ends
