BDP Southern region brings in new leadership

Botswana Democratic Party southern region has over the weekend ushered in new leadership into office.
The congress held at Goodhope Senior Secondary School on Saturday afternoon was graced by Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane amongst other dignitaries.
Mr Moutlwatsi Moeti was voted chairperson after amassing 64 votes against Ms Kenanao Mononi’s 35 votes.
Secretary of the region pitted Mr Selefa Ditshwane against Ketlhogile Keipeile and Keipeile got 52 votes against 46.
Mr Oremeng was unopposed for vice chairperson post while Tshwarelo Jane was unopposed too for the vice secretary post. Treasure of the region is Mr Mogorosi Ntlatseng who was unopposed and is assisted by Ms Kealeboga Shadume.
The new structures are to facilitate the region toward the national congress and national council.
There are no dates yet for both the congress and national council.
Southern region constitutes of three constituencies being Mmathethe-molapowabojang, Goodhope-Mabule and Lobatse. ENDS
