The Permanent Secretary to the President and Secretary to Cabinet has announced appointments and transfers of senior public officers. 

The transfers take effect immediately. 

According to the press release from the PSP’s office, Ms Nancy Neo Chengeta has been appointed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security.

Swapped on lateral transfer are Senior Managers – Corporate Services, Mr Jacob Momene from the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism and Mr Motlhatlosi Ditsile from Presidential affairs, governance and public administration.

Transferred on promotion are: Ms Angelinah Leano who becomes District Commissioner – Central District (Serowe) and Ms Kolobetso Sejakgomo who has been promoted to District Commissioner for Kgatleng District (Mochudi) in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. 

The press release further says Ms Dintle Ruth Setlhotlhe has been transferred on promotion as District Commissioner – Gaborone while Mr Rapetse Mathumo has been transferred from Central District (Serowe) to the position of Director – National AIDS and Health Promotion Agency under the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. Still on transfers, Mr Mompoloki Mochanang has been transferred from Kgatleng District (Mochudi) to Southern District (Kanye) as District Commissioner while Ms Grace T. Seitshiro has been transferred from Gaborone District to Kweneng District as District Commissioner in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. 

The press release says Ms Tlotlego Nkidi Rampha has been transferred from Kgatleng Land Board to the position of Deputy District Commissioner – Mabutsane in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. ends
