 The Permanent Secretary to the President has announced appointments, promotions and transfers of senior public officers. These appointments and promotions are effective immediately, according to a press release from her office. 

Ms Miriam Maroba has been appointed on promotion to Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic Education, while Ms Bopelokgale Soko has been appointed Director General, Financial Intelligence Agency in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. 

The press release further says that Mr Jackson Madzima has been appointed as Advisor – Security Affairs in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration while Professor Vasillis Koulolias has been appointed as Advisor – Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. 

Appointed on promotion, Ms Oteng Thamuku goes on to become Deputy Government Attorney at the Attorney General’s Chambers while Mr John-Thomas Dipowe has been appointed Acting Permanent Secretary – Government Communications in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration. 

Mr William Kemotho Sentshebeng has been appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary – Government Communications in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration while Ms Tebogo Tomango has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Accountant General – Compliance and Procurement in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.

Ms Grace Sekwababe has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Accountant General – Accounts and General Ledger in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. 

Ms Boineelo Peter has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Secretary – Programmes in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.

The release further says Ms Sarah Molale has been appointed on promotion to Deputy Secretary, Finance Administration in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development while Ms Seabo Keorapetse has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Secretary – Budget Administration in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. 

The release says Mr Mmoloki Raletobana has been appointed on promotion as Deputy Permanent Secretary – Corporate Services in the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology while Mr Ghulam Kibria has been appointed as Deputy Coordinator – Poverty Eradication in the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security. ends
