UDC wins Ledumadumane East

Umbrella For Democratic Change (UDC) has won Ledumadumane East by-elections. Mr Simon Moipolai of UDC garnered 381 votes while Mr Thato Kgwatalala of BDP got 271 votes.
In his acceptance speech Mr Moipolai thanked all of his supporters and said he looked forward to victory in 2024 General Elections.
Likewise Mr Kgwatalala said he accepted the results and urged constituents to rally behind Mr Moipolai.
Returning Officer Mr Losika Mosarwa confirmed the results adding that there were 6 spoilt votes. About 658 votes were counted.
In 2019 the ward was won by the late councillor for BDP Mr Otlaadisa Kgwatalala. ENDS
