Over 80 000 Pfizer doses arrive Saturday

Botswana will this Saturday receive 81 900 doses of Pfizer vaccine.
According to a media statement from Ministry of Health and Wellness, the consignment is a donation from the US government made through the COVAX dose-sharing mechanism.
The US donation’s arrival comes just after the country received another vaccine consignment of AstraZeneca on August 8, says the statement.
It further says yet another consignment, that of Johnson and Johnson vaccine, is expected to arrive today.
The statement says communication regarding arrival dates of other vaccines as well as their roll out will be availed once confirmed.ends
