Avoid unnecesary travel to South Africa eSwatini - ministry

The Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation has advised citizens of Botswana to avoid unnecessary travel to some parts of South Africa, particularly KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng provinces due to the ongoing incidents of violence and unrest.
A press release from the ministry states that Batswana who are already in South Africa should exercise caution and avoid unnecessary movements, especially in cities such as Johannesburg and Durban.
It also advises Batswana truck drivers to consider alternatives routes to avoid protest areas.
Batswana are further advised to avoid unnecessary travel to eSwatini due to civil unrests in that country, says the release.
The release says Batswana who are already in eSwatini are advised to be cautious and avoid unnecessary movements within the country.
