Botswana condemns Kenya terror attacks
24 Sep 2013
Botswana government has strongly condemned terror attacks in Kenya.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on September 23, the government said it learnt with horror about recent acts of terrorism perpetrated against innocent people in Kenya, Nigeria and Pakistan.
“It is our honest belief that the killing of civilians in whatever method will never bring about a solution to any form of discord or differences between and amongst people,” the statement read.
“Terrorism is an arch-enemy of humanity, and therefore a global concern. We therefore wish to appeal to the international community to work in concert to combat this malice.” The government extended condolences and sympathies to the governments and nations affected and families of the dead and injured.
