Government extends tourism industry subsidy

Government has approved an extension of the wage subsidy for the tourism sector for the July-December period.
A press release from the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism explains that the wage subsidy is expected to follow the same guidelines as the initial April – June.
“The Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) is processing payment for all licensed tourism operators who have fulfilled the requirements which were previously posted in the ministry’s Facebook page,” says the release.
