DCEC services continue
23 Apr 2020
The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) has not closed shop and continues to offer services during the national 28-day lockdown.
A press release from DCEC says, however staff has been trimmed to curb the spread of the coronavirus as well as reduce risks posed by COVID-19.
I t says the public is therefore encouraged to continue using other available means of reporting corruption such as emails, phones and letters.
The release further states that DCEC is aware of corruption risks and opportunities posed by the ongoing lockdown and state of emergency, hence it has dispersed intelligence and anti-corruption personnel to detect and aid in preventing the corruption threats anticipated. Ends
