Maele calls on Lerala-Maunatlala constituents to vote for him

Mr Prince Maele, an independent parliamentary candidate for Lerala-Maunatlala has called on residents of the area to vote for him and a team of independent councillors in the coming general elections.
Mr Maele, former MP for the constituency, made this call during an event held to launch him and the council candidates in Lerala over the weekend.
He indicated that he had worked tirelessly for the constituency, noting that he advocated for villages such as Moremi, Malaka, and Mokungwane to be connected to the national electricity grid, and currently all villages in the area are connected to the grid.
He said villages in the constituency had been experiencing water shortage and such had been resolved through his leadership, adding also that roads in the constituency, which had potholes were now fixed following his interventions.
Mr Maele further noted that in five years as the area MP, he worked with schools in the region to improve performance results by introducing best Primary School Leaving
Examination results competition. He said as such schools improved their performance and currently the lowest performing obtained a 51 per cent pass rate.
He noted that when voted in as the area MP, his mission would be to get the long awaited Lerala hospital project to be realised, mentioning that the project was to be undertaken in 2016, but due to financial constraints it was postponed.
He further mentioned that he intended to advocate for storm water drainage system network to be set up in Lerala to control water flooding into homes during rainy seasons.
Mr Maele also mentioned that he intended to request government to partner with Lerala Mine to assist with its operations.
He said the mine had been experiencing challenges, forcing it to close down.
He said if assisted the mine could create jobs for locals and the rest of the country, especially for the youth.
Another independent parliamentary candidate for Serowe North, Mr Ramadeluka Seretse also called on residents of the constituency to vote for Mr Maele.
He urged residents not to lose focus for the fact that Mr Maele was a hard worker and could help bring developments to the Region.
Mr Kamal Jacobs, also an independent candidate for the Lobatse parliamentary seat, also urged attendants to vote for Mr Maele.
Mr Tshekedi Khama of Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) called on constituents to vote for Mr Maele in the coming general election.
Mr Maele will be against BDP’s Mr Sethabelo Modukanele, and UDC’s Kabo Ketshogile. ENDS
