Construction Companies Registered with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) are invited to express interest to carry out Infrastructure projects under the Economic Stimulus Programme, for Buildings, Electrical and Mechanical Works across the country.

This request for Expressions of Interest follows the Government announcement of Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) in October 2015 which is to commence in the current nancial year 2015/2016. The objective of the ESP is to stimulate the economy through accelerated infrastructure development and the targeted goals are mainly employment creation and economic diversi cation.Building Infrastructure projects which form the portfolio of the ESP are spread across a number of sectors and the services sought will amongst others include Civil/Structural Engineering Works, Building Works, Electrical Engineering Works and Mechanical Engineering Works.

The Ministry of Infrastructure Science and Technology is tasked on behalf of all Ministries with the responsibility to coordinate the process of procurement of construction con- tracts for the projects listed under Annexure 1.

ESP is an accelerated infrastructure development programme, as such procurement processes will adopt the fast-track approaches to enable the completion of de- ferred projects and projects under the Primary School backlog eradication programme. The programme will enable completion of deferred projects and backlog eradication programme.
