Specially Elected MP election tomorrow

Election of a Specially Elected Member of Parliament is set to take place tommorrow (November 12) at the parliament buildings at 9am.
This will be in accordance with Section 58 (2) (b) of the Constitution of Botswana. The election is governed by the First Schedule of the Constitution.
A press release from the National Assembly states that the election follows a vacancy that exists under the provision of the four Specially Elected seats in the National Assembly.
Members of the public who wish to witness the election are encouraged to come early and be seated atleast by 8:15am and seats will be availed on first come first serve bases due to limited seating space.
