Mathokgwane resigns

The member of parliament for Goodhope-Mabule, Mr James Mathokgwane, has resigned as MP for the area.
A press release from the National Assembly states that, "the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms Gladys Kokorwe, has since recieved a resignation letter from Mr James Mathokgwane as Member of Parliament (MP) for Goodhope-Mabule constituency. The resignation is with immediate effect."
Mr Mathokgwane was sworn in as MP on October 30, 2014 following the general elections.
During his tenure as MP, he served as a member in the parliamentary portfolio committess of Labour and Home Affairs, Health and HIV/AIDS, Governance and Oversight, and the Southern African Development Community- Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF). ends
