Beware of false Purchase Orders

The public is informed of suspected fraudulent Purchase Orders that resemble the ones used by Botswana Government.
These purchase orders have been issued to various suppliers by unknown criminals to unsuspecting retailers.
The purchase orders are used to solicit the purchase of goods from the retailers and these criminals in all cases request for goods to be issued on credit promising to pay after delivering to Government departments.
The public is advised to take cautionary measures by requesting enough identification details and also confirm with relevant ministries or departments for the validity of Purchase Orders before releasing the goods.
