Saleshando launches Rammidi

The leader of Botswana Congress Party (BCP) Mr Dumelang Saleshando has urged electorates in the Kanye North constituency to give his party a chance through Mr Kentse Rammidi to represent them at parliament.
Mr Saleshando was launching BCP parliamentary candidate for Kanye North, Mr Kentse Rammidi, in Kanye over the weekend. He said BCP was the only party, which would focus on improving living standards and the quality of life for Batswana.
He said his visionary leadership was driven by people’s interests not their personal desire and they would initiate programmes that will improve people lives. He said jobs were taken to other countries depriving Batswana‘s right, adding that minerals should be processed locally to create more jobs for Batswana to change their lives better.
Mr Saleshando indicated that national resources should be shared equitably among Batswana rather than enjoyed by certain rich people and BDP leadership. He said his party will value employees and as such should offer better wages and proper facilities.
Concerning education, the leader said they will make sure that education is given first priority; he said they will start with pre-school to improve the level of education which has been declining.
He added that government programmes such Ipelegeng are baseless and a waste of time and money for Batswana.
Mr Saleshando told the audience that they should give their party mandate to rule the country because they are ready.
He said his party members are stable compared to other parties who are still fighting.
He criticised the ruling party for deceiving Batswana by useless programmes.
In his part BCP parliamentary candidate for Kanye North Mr Rammidi, entered the podium singing the song,’’ jaana bona, ke go golola gompieno mo diketeaneng tse di mo letsogong la gago, fa go le molemo mo matlhong a gago go ya le nna ko Babilone , a re tsamaye, ke tlaa go disa sentle , mme fa go na le bosula mo matlhong a gago go ya le nna ko Babilone , gana fela, bona lefatshe lotlhe le fa pele ga gago, kwa go leng molemo le tshiamo mo matlhong a gago go ya teng, Jeremiah 40:1’’
Rammidi told the audience that he left the BDP because most of them are corrupt and live in bondage.
He said they are not allowed to differ with the president of the party.
He promised to represent Kanye North constituency with his entire mind, better ideas and visionary programmes.
He said during his tenure in parliament he tabled many motions which were successful, one of the motions he tabled was the investigation of the collapse of BMC.
He said during employees’ strike he stands tall criticizing the employer for neglecting them, refusing to increase their salaries and working conditions. ENDS
