Motsamai promises equal representation
01 Sep 2014
Prospective parliamentary candidate for Kgalagadi North, Mr Phillip Khwae has called upon Ghanzi South electorates to vote for Mr Motsamai Motsamai in large numbers as he has proven himself as an asset to the constituency.
Mr Khwae said this when launching Mr Motsamai as the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) parliamentary prospective candidate for Ghanzi South, together with nine prospective council candidates in Charleshill recently.
He described Mr Motsamai as the right person to send to parliament as he was capable and with requisites to represent the constituency. He said the constituency had been a BDP stronghold for a long time and that it was time for opposition to win it.
For his part, Mr Motsamai appealed to residents of Ghanzi South to vote for him as he was prepared to serve them fairly and equally regardless of their political affiliation. He said it was time to bring change in the political landscape of this country as embraced in his party’s name.
Mr Motsamai assured the residents that if voted to parliament, he would, amongst other things, ensure that his constituents enjoyed tarred roads, health facilities which were up to standard, employment for the youth and advocate for land allocation to youth.
He further stated that he will also advocate for the development in his constituency such as the opening of coal mines in Ncojane to create employment opportunities for youth. Ends
